Do you want to help mother nature while doing the activities that you love like cycling and hiking? Good news because you can do all these things in one event!
The Bike, Hike, Plant is a tree-planting activity brought to us by National Bicycle Organization and Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Forest Management Bureau in the celebration of the 153rd years of Philippine Forestry Service.
This beautiful event will be held on June 25, 2016 in Marikina City but nature lovers and biking or hiking enthusiasts could register as soon as May 30, 2016.
The climb will be a challenging and exhausting height of around 1,300 feet above sea level which will demand effort and strength from the participants. However, it will only be a 31km ride plus great views of nature that will bring calmness and fulfillment to the cyclists.
As an effort to boost natural forest havens in the country, this tree-planting activity will surely reach far and even aid in combating climate change.
Bikers will climb significant height to plant trees in secluded areas and will enjoy all the health benefits that it could give to their body while giving back the favor to nature.
Bike, Hike, Plant is truly a revolutionary and interesting event while embracing nature and doing an activity that participants truly enjoy.
